On Sunday, both the men's and women's lacrosse teams squared off against Brevard. The men's team won their second straight SAC game with a 12-6 victory over the Brevard men. The Lady Railsplitters lost a heartbreaker, 11-10, when the Lady Tornados scored midway through the second half to secure the victory,
In similar fashion, I acted as a spotter during the game. I radioed penalties and timeouts to the press box. I also delivered the official penalty sheet to the refs after the women's game. For the most part, besides issues with the scoreboard, everything went well.
There wasn't much new material to learn over the course of the two games. The event was more of a continued learning process on how to manage and what is needed to run a lacrosse game.
