Today marked the final day I will be working on the video project for the Lincoln Awards. For the most part, we finished with the exception of a couple of videos that have to be uploaded in, which will be completed on Monday prior to the awards show.
Today, we placed recorded audio into the project announcing each of the categories. We also input music into each video package. We placed graphics into each timeline as well. After the project was essentially completed, Cam Whicker came up to Sigmon to review the tape.
There were only a few minor changes that had to be made, but for the most part he really enjoyed the video packages. While I won't see the official video package (the clips still have to be compressed and exported onto a disc before being used), I will say it was fairly interesting.
I've never worked on such a project involving video. From a learning perspective, this showed how important it is for an athletic department to cooperate with multiple departments on campus. We wouldn't have been able to complete this project without Sigmon Communications.
